The Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner is an independent office of the House of Assembly of Newfoundland and Labrador. The Office is responsible for protecting and upholding access to information and protection of privacy rights under the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act (ATIPPA). The Office will investigate and mediate complaints, as well as make recommendations to government departments and agencies, boards and municipalities.
